  • Overview

    The Manager of Natural Gas Engineering is the contact person for Executive Management and Customers for questions with regard to Engineering Execution.  The Manager of Natural Gas Engineering will lead the Discipline Engineers to improve and maintain the engineering methodologies to meet requirements for quality, budget and schedule.


    The Manager of Natural Gas Engineering shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

    • Engineering Operations covering all Discipline Engineering Phases from Proposal, Basic, Detail, Commissioning and Construction.
    • Proposing and defining the Work Methodology for the Engineering Execution.
    • Hiring, training, developing, and appraising staff effectively. Taking corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy.  Consulting with Human Resources as appropriate.
    • Assigning the Discipline Engineers in cooperation with Executive Management and Business Unit Managers.
    • Supervision of Discipline Engineering.
    • Setting Goals and Priorities on simultaneously executed projects.
    • Setting Goals and Priorities for improving the skills and engineering capabilities.
    • Reviewing and approving of important measures taken by Discipline Engineers as required.
    • Supporting the decision processes of Discipline Engineers on internal and external project issues.
    • Approval of the engineering project teams.
    • Participating in Gate and Design Review Program Meetings and Project Team Meetings as required.
    • Verification of estimates.
    • Managing departmental budget and controls expenses effectively.
    • Networking to connect the value creation process across boundaries
    • Championing the future, new business initiatives, new ways of working.
    • Enhance the professional image of design engineering by encouraging PE licensor of the discipline engineers.
    • Providing Management Reports and Presentation as required.
    • Learn and abide by the Linde Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct. Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all communications, actions and decisions.


    • BS/BA in Engineering.
    • 10 or more years’ experience managing engineering function, in a medium or large size company, preferably an EPC.
    • Registered Professional Engineer, preferred 
    • Possess a broad understanding of each engineering discipline.
