Financial Analyst

Lead financial analysis as a business partner providing a breadth of insights and decision support to deliver the Company’s vision and strategy.


  • Lead financial analysis of business and product-lines including data mining/opportunity identification in order to provide recommendations that support objectives. This includes benchmarking studies, cost comparisons, productivity/efficiency studies, etc
  • Spearhead the process to develop spending plans (business and department level), ensuring integration with strategic and operating plans. Perform scenario planning to understand and anticipate key risks & opportunities for appropriate action plans
  • Manage reporting program including analytics/actionable insights by business, product line, & department. Includes detailed understanding of key drivers in order to influence continuous improvement across resource allocation, investments, manufacturing, and sourcing strategies 
  • Lead evaluation and implementation of business intelligence initiatives (tools/process) that enhance reporting systems, quality and timeliness for optimal business decisions
  • Ensure related financial targets and in-process performance measures are effective and enabling optimal results. Partner with cross-functional leaders to continuously improve measures
  • Lead capital planning process across the business to develop a project portfolio linked to strategy. This includes financial analysis of various projects to guide optimal capital allocation
  • Learn and abide by the Linde Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct. Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all communications, actions and decisions.


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Three (3) years' experience in Finance or Accounting Analysis
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus but not required
  • Strategic Thinking-Ability to leverage financial insights to influence strategy and operations; Applies innovation to financial processes to support growth and cost optimization
