Overview

Responsible for intercompany accounting, subsequent settlement processes and payroll preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and posting various monthly intercompany transactions and entries.
  • Administration of Corporate Netting program.
  • Reconciliation of inter-company accounts with affiliated counterparties.
  • Responsible to interact and communicate with respective business units in order to facilitate any special reporting requirements.
  • Required to prepare monthly reconciliations for balance sheet and intercompany accounts. Analyze any discrepancies.
  • Conduct analyses related to intercompany accounts as requested by management.
  • Process labor data for submission to outside payroll processor.
  • Proper sales and use tax reporting.
  • Compliance with all corporate accounting controls and checks and balances.
  • Remain current in generally accepted accounting principles and procedures.
  • Miscellaneous other accounting responsibilities.
  • Learn and abide by the Linde Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct. Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all communications, actions and decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in general accounting and/or related activity.
  • Accounts Payable experience preferred.
  • General Ledger and Inter-company experience preferred.
  • SAP or other Enterprise software knowledge helpful.
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks/projects.
  • Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office software; Word, Excel, Access and database technology.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company,
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
