The Cryogenic Equipment Designer works with the project and product engineers to create and maintain engineering documentation in support of the LC product line, including CAD drawings and bills of material. 


The Cryogenic Equipment Designer is responsible for the following but not limited to:

  • Create mechanical and process drawings.
  • Maintain bills of material.
  • Create and maintain work instructions to aid the assembly process.
  • Production planning.
  • Create and maintain quality assurance drawings and documentation.
  • Create and maintain field service and parts manuals.
  • Ensuring design compliance with respective client specifications and codes.
  • Technical co-ordination with all disciplines related to engineering effort.
  • Participation as required in design reviews.
  • Assist with fabrication activities, as required.
  • Assist in writing procedures and specifications in support of product line engineering.
  • Learn and abide by the Linde Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct. Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all communications, actions and decisions.


  • Two year technical certification or equivalent experience.
  • Four years experience.
  • Intermediate level of CAD 2D (Autocad),3D CAD (SolidEdge 3D), and Solid Edge technical publications.
  • Effective computer skills; Microsoft Office software, other Company and discipline specific software applications, such as Visibility.
  • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
