  • Overview

    Responsible for overall successful operation of the Company communication strategy, public relations, marketing, Company event and charitable donation/volunteer program management including all company subsidiaries and divisions, in accordance with corporate strategies and business objectives.


    The Head of Internal Communications & Marketing shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

    • Responsible for strategies, tactics and content that support the communications, marketing and public relations initiatives of the organization
    • Manage Executive Communications and Leadership Communications for Linde Engineering North America (LENA) and its Senior Management team including; executive speeches, talking points, videos, and other internal and external communications on behalf of LENA leadership.
    • Manage and develop corporate advertising and Marketing Communications campaigns including business-to-business PR, digital marketing, advertising and development of technical articles and literature
    • Develop and execute the Company’s digital and social media strategy, coordinating with stakeholders across the Company to ensure effectiveness
    • Cultivate effective, strategic relationships with business leaders throughout the organization; provide counsel and guidance on tactics, timing and medium for message delivery to target audiences
    • Responsible for communication programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products including graphics, brochures, company or product fact sheets, logos, or other promotional products
    • Manage relationships with local Chamber of Commerce, Local Congressmen, Press (television, newspaper and technical magazine), etc.
    • Manage budget and headcount and control expenses effectively
    • Internal change management consultant from a communication perspective on change initiatives within the organization.
    • Responsible for LENA Events and Corporate giving programs, including;
    • Organization's corporate giving funds and volunteer programs
    • Implement and monitor programs that promote good will and foster relationships with community leaders
    • Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively. Take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy.  Consult with Human Resources as appropriate.
    • Learn and abide by the Linde Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct. Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all communications, actions and decisions.



    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field.
    • Minimum five (5) years's experience in Corporate Communications and /or business-to-business Marketing Communications is required. Event planning experience would be a strong plus. Training experience is preferred.
    • Effective computer skills, Microsoft Office Software, Lotus Notes, and other Company and discipline specific software applications.
    • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company. Ability to serve as an effective corporate spokesperson with the media, government and /or community leaders.
    • Maintain appropriate level of confidentiality.
    • Effective leadership skills.
    • Effective analytical and problem -solving skills.
    • Professioanl writing and editing skills.
    • Proficiency with digital and social media.
