Responsible for overseeing contractor safety at construction sites in support of the LENA Construction Group.
Set up, implement and manage the site HSE Program for all phases of construction and commissioning.
Support of the Site Manager in fulfilling his/her HSE tasks, including: 1) Instructing new employees and ensuring the instruction of the Contractor’s employees on the local and project-specific health and safety precautions, health and environmental measures, alarm and contingency plans and required response in the case of emergency alarms 2)Reviewing the implementation of the work permit system and of the implementation of protective measures against hazards on site 3) Preparing the monthly HSE report 4)Carrying out and implement safety measures as defined in Risk Assessments for all activities performed by Linde personnel 5) Monitoring the adherence to the HSE requirements; organizing regular meetings to discuss HSE issues; performing regular construction site inspections along with the recording of HSE issues 6) Participate in audits, inspections and safety walks 7) Conduct investigation of incidents and accidents
Bachelor of Science Degree Safety Engineering or in an occupational health and safety or industrial hygiene discipline or equivalent combination of education, technical training and/or industrial related safety experience.
Minimum 5 years industrial related safety experience.
OSHA Course 500: Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry.
First Aid/CPR/AED Certified

Effective computer skills; Microsoft Office Software, Lotus Notes, and other Company discipline specific software applications.
Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company.
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
Additional certification as CHST or CSP is preferred.
