Responsible for painting fabricated structures and equipment.
Apply industrial coatings per recommended thickness.
Mix, thin and adjust spray equipment for proper atomization.
Check prime job and apply second coat to specified thickness.
Productivity level must consistently equal the Company’s established productivity requirements, as defined by work instructions.
Workmanship must meet the Company’s quality standards.
Follow LPP safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Safety Manual.
Maintain records on paint.
Two years industrial paint experience.
Paint with minimal supervision.
Familiar with various coatings.
Knowledge of fast and slow evaporating solvents.
Familiar with effects temperature and humidity have on coatings.
Use dry film thickness gauge, wet mil gauge, and holiday detector equipment.
Familiar with drawing and understand data sheets on paint.
Must demonstrate the desire to perform in a professional manner as a member of a team, as well as a team leader, to give inputs on activities that will help complete project assignments in a timely and efficient manner while upholding the quality and safety standards.
