    • Support and meet the goals in the corporate operating plan and the targets set by management

    • Develop and present technical articles and presentations to support the Business Development effort
    • Coordinate product management activities with Linde Gas

    Responsibilities

    • Budget responsibility for product development projects.
    • Provide feedback regarding employee performance on a project team to the functional manager for documentation
    • Hire, train, develop, and appraise staff effectively.  Take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy.  Consult with Human Resources as appropriate
    • Manage employee performance and develop employees
    • Responsible for interfacing with Business Development to understand all aspects of market analysis, including customer, product, competitor, product price and market volume analysis
    • Establish and maintain relationships with customers to help facilitate continued opportunities and identify project performance issues
    • Establish regular meetings as needed to provide information not related to projects
    • Support and advise proposal manager for selection of the relevant product management measures such as standardization concepts, etc.
    • Define and maintain product line fabrication and construction strategy in collaboration with execution team
    • Responsible for continuous product development and product cost reduction according to market and customer needs, while meeting the company’s quality and safety standards
    • Develop an in depth knowledge of the technology and product portfolio of the company
    • Ensure cooperation between the equivalent Global Product Line
    •  Responsible for establishing the budget and controlling of expenses for Product Management in accordance with approved budget
    • Responsible for annual operational plan and monthly reporting relative to the target achievement and forecasts
    • Coordinate and document the product portfolio standards of the product lines
    • Define, develop (jointly with the Head of Sales & Business Development) and maintain proposal workflow and documents for products with modular platform
    • Define, develop (jointly with the Head of Project Execution, Procurement and Construction respectively) and maintain reference execution and procurement and construction strategies/concepts for products with modular platform
    • Develop and maintain reference tool list for proposal development and execution of products with a modular Platform by using standard Linde documentation platforms (e.g. LION/Documentum)

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, related field - Master’s degree is preferred
    • Ten (10) or more years of experience managing a technology, and business function in a medium or large size EPC company – Global experience is preferred
    •  Effective negotiation skills
    • Possess a broad understanding of Process Plant Industry
    • Ability to evaluate opportunities with respect to their value in the strategic plan; then make bid/no-bid recommendations accordingly
    • Understanding of current market direction
    • Ability to evaluate cost estimates for completeness, accuracy and competitiveness
    • Technical skills in strategic planning and, market research
    • Highly developed organizational and planning skills
    • Effective leadership skills
    • Effective computer skills; Microsoft Office Software, Lotus Notes, and other Company and discipline specific software applications
    • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company
    • Effective presentation skills with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company
