  • Overview

    Responsible for identifying, delivering and implementing successful sustainable cost savings, revenue and cash generating projects cross-functionally within the office.

    Responsibilities

    The HPO Project Manager shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

    • Project Management and implementation of sustainable solutions through robust change management
    • Identify HPO opportunities within the division and execute those opportunities. Those are projects that will generate cost savings, increase work flow efficiency, promote standardization, among others.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with accountability for schedule, project control and achievement of agreed-to-project KPIs
    • Ensure appropriate change management strategies developed for complex projects
    • Coaching and training the organization on the value of standardization, reduction of deviations, etc.
    • Drive Start-Stop-Continue HPO sessions within the division; serve as expert coach and trainer to managers on the Start-Stop-Continue process
    • Drive awareness of HPO throughout the division by supporting local communication efforts.
    • Support change management training
    • Identify, translate, prioritize and promote best practices in the division
    • Support implementation of prioritized best practices within the division
    • Share process improvement learnings, projects and best practices with regional and center counterparts and the Linde Engineering North America organization
    • Communicate and report project progress, results and deviations from the project plan and associated risks to all relevant stakeholders within the area of responsibility. 
    • Work collaboratively with the functional leaders and managers to maintain commitment and sense of urgency for project deliverables with local project teams.
    • Learn and abide by the Linde Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct. Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all communications, actions and decisions.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline or equivalent work experience
    • Fifteen (15) years of experience
    • Six Sigma certification a plus
    • Experienced Project or Operations management
    • Effective negotiation skills.
    • Effective facilitation skills
    • Financial acumen
    • Effective computer skills; Excel, Microsoft Office Software and other Company and discipline specific software applications.
    • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company.
    • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective organization skills including the ability to prioritize and plan work.
    • Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
