The Project Controls Assistant provides general support to the project controls activities for one or more engineering and construction projects or programs. Working under moderate level of guidance and supervision, the PCA assists more senior project controls engineers with coordinates and management project scheduling, resource management and cost accounting on various types of industrial gas plant construction projects throughout the United States. Additionally, the PCA may be assigned sole responsibility for project controls on small projects, programs or departmental resource tracking and management tasks.
The Instrumentation and Controls Systems Engineer is assigned by the Department Manager and approved by the Project Manager. This person is the responsible discipline Instrument Engineer for the project team. The person is responsible to maintain professional competency through continued education.

Performs Field Service Interventions for Cryostar USA customers. Work includes start-ups, commissionings, repairs and troubleshooting. Mechanical repair of turbo expanders. Deals with Distribution and Process equipment. Cylinder fill plants and Air Separation plants are the main customer base.

The Sr. Electrical Designer will be a member of our LEA (Linde Engineering Americas) engineering team in Tonawanda, NY, reporting directly to the Electrical Design Section Leader. They will be responsible for preparing designs and layouts for capital projects. This position works under direct supervision following established routines and standing instructions. You will be expected to prepare detailed drawings and layouts of process plant electrical distribution systems for engineering, manufacturing or construction projects. Specifically, this candidate will be required to have extensive knowledge in power distribution (15kV, 5kV, 480V & 120V), cable tray design, grounding practices, sizing of wire and conduit, control & instrumentation wiring, fiber optics, winterization (heat tracing) and lighting & utilities.
This group is ultimately responsible for wiring existing and new plants pursuant to the specific project scope developed by the leadership team. Thus, a hands-on electrical designer is ideal for this role.
The Section Lead for Control Systems Engineering will be a member of our LEA (Linde Engineering Americas) engineering team in Tonawanda, NY, reporting directly to the Electrical & Instrumentation Group Leader.
